Thanks!
To all
of you, who have supported the CMN Balloon Team over the years. I
have enjoyed my time as the pilot of the Children's Miracle Network hot
air balloon and will cherish the friendships and memories I have made.

It has
been my privilege to serve as an ambassador for the Children’s Miracle
Network for the last Eight years. We have traveled coast to coast
to places like Long Island, Hershey, Wisconsin Rapids, Ripon, CA, and
of course Albuquerque, NM. We have logged over
400 hrs of flight time, made appearances on NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX and even filmed
two segments of the Big Break with the Golf Channel. This was very
exciting and great publicity for the Children’s Miracle Network
Nationwide.
However, it is with deep regrets that I must inform you that due to
economic times and
lack of sponsorship, I must close the doors of the CMN Balloon Team. I will truly miss working with you. I wish I didn't
have to shut down the program, however, like all of you, I have seen the
economic downturn take affect and a drop in the number
of jobs to less
than minimal. Please understand that like any business if the revenues
drop below the operating cost it’s no longer viable to continue. I, like
you, need to make a full time income to take care of my family.

It is
my hope that someday in the near future, Children's Miracle Network
Hospitals will have the funding to rejuvenate a fulltime balloon
program. If so, and they call me, I would be honored to have the
opportunity to fly for the children once more.

Until
then, Keep up the good work for the kids.
Sincerely,
Jon
